COVID-19 COVERAGE

COVID-19 spread by people who are asymptomatic

The animation above is part of a study from MIT demonstrating how an uncovered sneeze travels. Where a cough can travel 13-16 feet, a sneeze can spread droplets at 26 feet and project up to 40,000 respiratory droplets. Some other recent studies have found that a single minute of loud speaking could generate at least 1,000 virus-containing droplets.

Per the CDC, “Some people without symptoms may be able to spread the virus. We are still learning about how the virus spreads and the severity of illness it causes.” Please maintain social distancing and good hygiene practices. Wash your hands regularly and routinely clean and disinfect with our Sanitizer/Disinfectant!

Remember, for hard surfaces, clean with soap and water first and then disinfect, keeping the surface wet for a period of time to allow the HOCl to work its magic.

CDC's six steps for safe and effective disinfectant use

Let's Fight Against COVID-19!

ECA500 is a sanitizer and disinfectant used to treat the toughest pathogens. Its active ingredient, Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) is effective against viruses similar to COVID-19 on hard, nonporous surfaces (meets EPA criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19).

All products on List N meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, and ECA500 is comparable to those products (ECA500 EPA Registration No. 91138-1).

In fact, Hypochlorous Acid is currently being used in South Korea, in which hospital workers are showered with Hypochlorous Acid to disinfect after a day's shift.
